We aren't saying there’s anything wrong with you if you actually enjoy putting a budget together - no judgment here. However, we can confidently say that 98.7% of the UK population would rather go without tea for a day than spend an hour with a pen and paper (or worse, hand over their financial details to a random app via OpenBanking that "definitely" won't use that data for advertising).
The 15-Minute Budget Builder
It’s a big claim to say we can help you build a reusable budget in just 15 minutes, but the truth is that most of our household spending is fairly predictable. You pay the mortgage or rent, cover the basic utilities, and have a handful of insurances and subscriptions. Then, of course, you eat and keep the house clean.
These costs rarely change; most contracts are 12, 24, or 36 months long, you probably can't live without Netflix or Spotify, and your grocery bills tend to stay consistent.
Build once, reuse, and adjust
Once you have a solid budget in place, you only need to look at it once a month and nod, "Yep, still the same." Simply tap Import last month’s items and you're done.
If you later realise the water bill has gone up, simply edit the amount. Cancelled Netflix? Swipe to delete. Spending just a minute here and there ensures you are always up to date with your outgoings.
Budget cycles and income
We’ve added two convenience features to make life easier: you can set your "Budget Date" to align with your payday and add your household income to automatically calculate your final balance - the actual "leftover" for the month.
Who pays and what
If your household members share bills via a joint account, you can set budget items to be split between everyone. In the Monthly Splits section, you can see exactly who is paying for what and how much they owe.
The Free tier ❤️
We understand that money can be tight, and stable finances are crucial for both security and mental health. That’s why we aren't restricting any Budget features in our Free tier.
As a reminder, we pride ourselves on the fact that we don’t use our users’ data for tracking or advertising. To put it simply: we are not Facebook.
